About PlexRun

Building the runtime
AI workflows deserve.

Most AI products are still held together by fragile glue code — hand-rolled queues, brittle retry logic, and zero observability. We're fixing that at the infrastructure layer.

Our mission

PlexRun exists to make production-grade AI workflow orchestration accessible to every engineering team — not just those with the resources to build it from scratch.

We believe the next wave of AI products will be defined by their reliability, composability, and observability — not just the models they use. PlexRun is the infrastructure that makes that possible.

What we're building

  • A DAG-based workflow engine for multi-agent AI pipelines
  • Distributed execution with sub-second cold starts
  • Per-step observability, tracing, and cost attribution
  • First-class support for retries, idempotency, and recovery
  • An API-first, developer-native platform

How we work

Infrastructure-first

We solve hard distributed systems problems so product teams don't have to. Reliability is never an afterthought.

Developer-native

Every surface of PlexRun is designed for engineers. SDKs, CLI, YAML — your workflow, your tools.

Transparent by default

No black boxes. Every execution is fully observable, every cost is attributed, every failure is debuggable.

Founder

Founder & CEO · Building PlexRun full-time

7+ years building developer infrastructure and distributed systems — event-driven pipelines, workflow engines, and observability platforms running at high throughput in production.

Started PlexRun after watching engineering teams duct-tape Celery, Airflow, and custom retry logic to run LLM pipelines that were never designed for them. AI workflows have different failure modes than data pipelines — they deserve their own runtime.
